You'd think most celebrities would want their kids to follow in their famous footsteps and become stars in their own right, but that's not entirely the case with Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny.
The singer, who was recently a judge on the first season of The Voice Kids Arabia, said that he wouldn't want his daughters to audition for a reality singing show.
His reasons? Tamer said, "I have my reasons, in addition to my own experience as an artist, which makes me not want them to go through what I've been through.
"I've worked so hard to get to where I am today; I had to put up with numerous rumors and was attacked by many, and I don't want my daughters to have to go through that."
Tamer did however admit that he's not sure what his little girls' big dreams for the future are, but insisted that "my job as a father is to point my kids in the right direction, then they can decide their own future as adults."
"My girls are way too young to know what they want to do when they grow up, while the contestants in The Voice Kids were old enough to know that singing is their dream," he added.
Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram, who also sat on the judging panel of The Voice Kids Arabia, said that she wouldn't want her daughters to participate in a reality singing show either.
